Is this a joke? They are loaded with fat. 15 grams of carbs. Virtually no nutrition or protein.

This is the kind of food we got fat on and is nothing we should be eating after WLS surgery, to be hones.

Here's the nutrition info (note - it's just 16 of those thin little things)

Umm, at five weeks out, aren't you still on soft foods?  And didn't your doctor or dietician give you a list of foods you can have?  Are Pringles on the list?  I'm guessing not.

If you want salt, have some soup with some salt in it or something.

Craving salt is often a sign that you are dehydrated.  If you are getting enough fluids, then there may be a problem with your electrolytes.  Get a blood test for that and, if needed, see what your doc wants you to take for that.  The popular drinks such as Gatorade may be loaded with sugar.

I used to just shake a little bit of table salt on the back of my hand and lick it up.  Unfortunately, I mentioned that to my primary doc and he was appalled.  Since then, I've read that many of my compadres on the Men's forum do that on occasion,  ie it's a way of getting salt without unnceccessary fats, carbs, and calories.  Don't do it if you have high blood pressure.

I kind of recall that craving salt may also be a sign of potassium deficiency.  You may want to check on that at WebMD or another medical site.
