Hi Susan, I'm also a Susan. I'm two years out and I was chowing down on chilli almost in my first solid foods post op. I went to India for my surgery so spicy dhal was on the menu.
Thesedays I eat the hot stuff with no problem.

Hi,

I've actually started eating spicy since the surgery !! I have a hard time eating solid food, so I find refuge in spicy asian soups, which often contain shrimp, which I can digest, and plenty of veggies. I tend to stay away from the ones with beef or noodles, but the spicier the better.

Claude, down 180 lbs since march :) (surgery was april 2nd '09)
