I am having the worst taste in my mouth all day long. NO matter what i drink...or try to eat. I am only 18 days out and i get this foaming frothy taste in my mouth all day long. Does Anyone have ANY suggestions...its killing me! I have tried water (which is sooo hard going down), crystal light and other non caloric beverages...any suggestions??? Is anyone else feeling this as well or am i alone???

My first thought would be to suck on something like a flavored Tums just to get rid of the taste. . Or, you may want to try a mouthwash or just some toothpaste.

I feel your pain...
The first few weeks I suffered with this. I got dehydrated and had to go back to the hospital because the water felt 'too heavy'. I also suffered with lots of nausea and vomiting.
I found that if I sucked on some lime, it helped. I swished the froth out of the back of my throat. I wound up having another endoscopy and they found I had a small ulcer where the stomach and intestine met. They put me on Pepsid for that. They also did a dialation to open up the pouch a little more. I agree you should let your Dr. know asap.
Today, I still get the froth. I find it comes at the onset of having something with even minimum amounts of sugar.
If anyone else knows how to get rid of it, please let me know.

Hello Candice,
My name is Princess, I'm new to this section. I usually stay in the VSG group.
I found this and glad I did because I go through the same thing but only if I don't wait and let my food digest before I drink my water. If I make a mistake and drink something right after I eat I suffer with the foams.
Also if I eat too fast! In the VSG group we call it "The Foams".
