You need to visit the PA state board. They are the most helpful group of people ever and are in your area and they are very active on a daily basis and have lots of support groups to help you learn; you don't have to be with a certain doctor to attend either. They will help you with the most "intimate" of questions through your journey be it pooping issues or wear to buy SF chocolate chips and good bras. It's been a few days since you posted this, gee, I hope you've figured out something to eat. Puree can be anything. It can be the roast you cooked last night or the chicken so long as you get it smoothed down to the consistency of peanut butter. (Remember, its only for a week or so; you can do anything for a week or so.) I used to blend the contents of a cheesesteak or the insides of a stouffers lean cuisine lasagna. Tuna fish, shrimp salad, seafood salad. Campbells Portobello Mushroom Soup is awesome. Add extra chicken to your soups and blend it. Just don't have lumps. If you are onto the next phase by now, it's the same thing only not so pasty, soft lumps are ok, smashed itsy bitsy with a fork is ok. Start using herbs and spices now. Meat w/little taco seasoning, chicken with garlic and pepper. This is where your tastes are going to come from now. Don't use salt or seasonings high in sodium as you'll retain fluid and the scale will slow down; do make sure you read your labels. I hope you took your measurements; if not, do so NOW as mentally you will need to see change when the scale slows at 6-8 weeks out (when you body catches on that something is different). Good Luck and hope to see you on the PA board.
