Hi Ericia,
I had the RNY 1-30-09. I felt great no problems. I wondered if my doctor really did do the surgery because I was not throwing up and I could easily eat 1/4 cup and not feel full. That's when my doctor told me to try fish, turkey meat balls, egg, lunch meats... Well some days are better than others but I have to say I now throw up and I am learning the signs of being full. The feeling is very different
than eating till one is full. Now I listen for gurgling. If I don't stop at the first sign I experience hiccups, my nose runs, and I salivate then the food goes up and down causing me to burp or throw up. The short story is I now experience fullness. Be patient and its only my opinion don't worry your pouch is too big. When you start eating solid foods I bet you will feel differently. I hope my experience helped a little.

Yes, that is normal. Your stomach was worked on not your "head" . It will take time for your insides to get thier feeling back. Just remember not to pu**** . Eat slow and chew, chew, chew.....wait to drink afterwards. I also found out that when I was "full" I would hic cup , mostly when I had chicken . Don't over eat .
You are just starting out. Take your time. And don't worry if you suddenly "stop" losing. Around three weeks out I hit a "stall" (for close to a month !) but in that time I went from a 26 to a 22 ! So while you may not be losing pounds you will be losing inches.
