Hi!  I also have been away for a while.  Never made it to goal, been stuck at the same weight for about 2 years.  So for 2009, I am going to get my act together and get back with the program.  I started a Blog, going to support group meetings, exercising.  So far it is a struggle.   Have a Dr. appt, thinking about an unfill?

Welcome and check out my profile for the story.  Ann

hi, had my band placed in 06 been stuck at the same weight for six months and its driving me crazy, the dr. wont fill me cause i am so close to goal, and she said that i am a normal person now so the weight will be harder to come off. i am struggling with soft foods and junk food. ice cream goes down so easy and if i eat a bowl, i feel like i am eating a whole meal. tonight i tried to eat steak and two bites, and i want to go throw up. its like this all the time, the only healthy thing that i can eat a decent amount of and not feel like i am gonna get sick is wendys chili. this is so frustrating

IT IS A NEVERENDING BATTLE, THAT I WILL NOT LOSE

I am 2 1/2 years out from my Lapband and struggling as well.  I bet it's been a year since I was on OH and I am back searching for help, too.  I guess it's confession time.
I too love food and the worse part is that I think I stretched my pouch out so much that it's not much help to me anymore.  I don't get that "signal" anymore when I eat that I relied on so heavily.  I have returned to the junk food that goes down so much easier than the healthy stuff.

I never reached my goal but I got within 5 pounds of it then the holidays came and I turned the other way.  I gained 15 pounds in about 6 months and am unable to take it off.  Therefore, I am more than 20 pounds from my goal.  Additionally, I never exercised much and all of the muscle I had has turned to flab.  That just makes me look and feel fatter.

I am a mess and would love some buddies as well.  I am trying to turn over a new leaf however, all I ate this weekend was popcorn, BBQ, sodas and mexican food!  Good golly!
