Hungry all the time!
Why am I feeling hungry all the time? I am over 2 years out. I just feel like I should be eating all the time. I seriously have cravings 24/7! I can be sitting here and suddenly crave chicken wings or chocolate cake. I haven't felt hungry in 2 years! What gives?Am I making up for lost time? Could something be wrong? HELP!
Hi Gang,
I thought that this surgery was a tool to help control our hunger? What gives? I wasn't hungry at first but now I feel hungry a lot; 7 months post op! If I were getting in more protein and water would that make a difference?? I know this is only a tool and we have to do the work. I have thought my surgeon did not make my pouch small enough??? I wish I could help I am looking for answers too. Best of luck, Judy R

Recently, I've read many posts where members talk about "Head Hunger". I haven't had much problem with this type of hunger. When I do have a craving for a food that I'd really rather not eat, I tell myself, "It tastes like dogfood!"
This works for me so I'm sharing it... even if it is weird.... LOL Ro
OMG I love it! I am gonna use that if you don't mind me stealing that idea ! I have a dog and everytime I feed him I just want to gag. LOL! I think it will work if I think of that. I believe what I have is head hunger. I really am not hungry. Its a habit that I have taken up. I have those darn 100 calorie packs and I can eat a few of them a day. That adds up.
Also since I bough this cinnamon broom for my home I crave less. I didn't know why I did till I remembered reading about cinnamon being an appetite suppressant. Not to mention I just love the smell. I may go buy one to carry with me! Hehe! At least its close to halloween, I can just pretend to be a witch. LOL Well it might still look weird!
Thanks for sharing!

Hi, Paula! Good idea about the cinnamon. It does seem to work with the room spray! Who knew? I was thinking about your urge for chicken wings. I bought Al Fresco Buffalo Chicken sausage... baked the pack, REMOVED the casing, cut into rounds and froze the extra. I added a little Frank's Hot Sauce and ICBIN...Butter to 2 oz of the buffalo chicken... so good. My favorite is their Mango Chipolte.
Originally, when I mentioned my dogfood mantra, people thought that I was joking. I think of dry food for crispy foods and wet food for creamy, yummy foods. On one of the threads, I told a friend that I was eyeing some pastry and DH whispered in my ear, "It tastes like dogfood" to which I started laughing and turned a head or two at the diner!
Weird = Good, if it works for you (us)!
