Peanuts

My Nut suggested I eat peanuts as a snack to get in some extra protein. I have started eating them and when I start it's hard to put them down. I was wondering if eating a lot of peanuts will slow my weight loss down. I'm 10 weeks out and have lost 47lbs, but have stayed at the same weight this week. Anyone know if I should leave the peanuts alone or if it's ok. Thank you

Tonya: Peanuts and peanut butter are both good sources of protein for us. I would guess since you aren't very far out yet, you eat pretty small quanities of peanuts. If you measure your portions and don't graze on nuts all day, you wil be fine! When you're further out and able to take in more calories, you will definitely want to consume limited amounts of nuts as they are high in calories. Good luck!! DeeAnn
