I am just 2 weeks out of having gastric bypass surgery and am on a full liquid diet. The problem is that I am starving, constantly hungry! I though that after the surgery I wouldn't be hungry! Is this normal. Any suggestions on how to get this hunger to go away!

I had this problem too. The answer seemed to be Protein! Once I made sure I did that it helped considerably, but I still needed to eat a little every 2-3 hours. Hope this helps. Jen

I remember being hungry at 2 weeks out - probably still a good bit weak from surgery, and a shock to your body that is used to eating A LOT more. For me, it did get better as I got stronger and further out from surgery and off the full liquid diet - just sip sip sip water as much as possible and get your liquids in, I believe your body and hunger will catch up and get with the program.....Mostly, it did go away completely for me after a few weeks.....
