Hi Peggy!
You didn't go into any detail about your daily diet or exercise schedule, so it might be difficult to pinpoint the root of your stall without evaluating that part first. What is your average food day like? Do you keep a journal of what you eat? Do you count protein, carbs and fats? Do you concentrate on getting all your protein (first) and your water every day? What about exercise? Is exercise a part of your daily routine? Do you include weight training as well as cardio?
All of these things are big factors in reaching our goal weight following weight loss surgery. Evaluating areas that need improvement is sometimes tough - we don't want to admit that we are possibily sabatoging our own success by skirting around the rules a little more than we should.
My advice would be to go back to the basics. Remember when you first had your surgery and you were so diligent about what you ate, when you ate, how much you ate, getting all your protein in during the course of the day, hydrating as much as possible throughout the day, etc. Keep a food journal and really pay attention to what you put in your mouth. Sometimes we really surprise ourselves when we "see" the number of empty calories and unnecessary fats and carbs that we are taking in. While it might not seem like a large quantity of food, the bad calories can add up in a hurry! FitDay.com has a great (free) site for journaling everything from food to exercise to personal journal entries. It might be a good place for you to start!
Remember that weight loss surgery is only a tool. After that initial substantial weight loss immediately following surgery, we have to continue to work at weight control (or loss) just like the average person. The good news is that you have a TOOL for the rest of your life that can help you with this journey!
Best of luck to you!
Hugs!
