Just curious if anyone has tried Unjury Protein supplemental products? It seems to come highly recommended on several other forums and their website has testimonials from several bariatric patients. I'm mostly curious about the unflavored Unjury.... Anyone have any experience with this product? Kristi

Hey Kristi, I have used Unjury since the beginning. Ive tried the vanilla and the choc but not the strawberry. Didnt like the unflavored. I always liked how friendly their customer service is, especially Jerome. I havent ordered it in awhile since I quit working. I hear its the best form of protein for us bariatric patients b/c its made solely with whey protein isolate istead of concentrate or other proteins and is better absorbed for that matter. I reall liked it all along, especially with the calorie countdown milk 2%. When I was drinking them all the time Id drink one after a workout since that is when they are the most beneficial to your body but a lot of people drink em for breakfast. I have to have substanance for breakfast or I end up drinking the shake then eating something too. Hope this helps... Candy

Hey Candy~ I just ordered some samples of the Unjury, so I'll let you know what I think! What didn't you like about the unflavored?? That was the one I was specifically interested in, since you can put it in so many different kinds of foods. I hate doing the shakes, etc. all the time, so I was really hoping the unflavored would be an ideal way of getting that extra protein without the "protein" flavor, 'ya know? I'm looking forward to trying the chocolate in my coffee - heard that is supposed to be like having a specialty coffee drink. Sure beats the price of Starbucks!!! We'll see!!! Thanks for your input! Hugs! Kristi

I tried the unflavored one and it was delicious! The only problem is I dump with it...and many other protein powders. Try before buying the whole thing! I am the only person I heard of that dumps with protein shakes....but as per my nutricionist, it could happen in rare cases! Good luck!

Hi Kristi, Love the Unjury...well, not really...but it is darn good.... I like the vanilla and choc....both mix with milk. I use only a spoon to mix. They do have a strawvberry flavor that mixes with water...I was SO excited....boy was I disappointed...I spit it in the sink....but everyone has a different taste they like...so, I wouldn't rule it out until you try it. I go to the unjury site...samples are available.... also...btw...once you know what you like, you get discounts for ordering (I think) 6 or more. RAE BTW, HATED the unflavored....

Hi Kristi, I use the Unjury unflavored protein mix (1 scoop) everyday in a 8oz glass of milk mixed with Carnation Good Start sugar free powder mix. It gives me a total of 35g of protein at just one time. You could do the drink in half twice a day also for a morning and afternoon snack. It is a great way to get a lot of protein in at one time. Thanks

I just received my first purchase for the Unjury protein powders today. Yeah! After trying the samples, I decided it was worth almost any cost. It has been the only protein stuff I've liked. I purchased the samples from bariatriceating.com and didn't find anything very palatable. I know others would disagree with this assessment: there doesn't seem to be a consensus regarding tasty protein powders. But back to Unjury. I thought the unflavored was more "unflavored" than any other I've tried. I mixed it in a drinkable yogurt and it was good. Both the chocolate and vanilla, which I mixed in milk, were pretty good as well. To help you measure my opinion, I should let you know that I am fairly particular (a.k.a. picky) about tastes. Unfortunately, it will take some trial and error to find what YOU like. Good Luck! -elizabeth
