Trying to lose gained back weight .. and now I am pregnant!!!!
I posted a couple of weeks ago about gaining weight. I have gained back 30lbs after my son was born 04/27/05 that I really want to lose. Well, I found out yesterday that I am 5 weeks pregnant!! (Not the reason for gaining weight - but a reason I will gain MORE weight!)
Please help me be strong and keep walking, drinking water and getting LESS carbs and MORE protien.
I am very happy that we will have a new addition to the family come Sping but I know with my son I had a rocky time and I would like to gain the weight I need to for the baby but not a whole lot more than that....

Congratulations on your happy news. Remember that every pregnancy is different, so chances are you WON'T have a rocky time this time around!
You KNOW what to do here...more protein, less carbs, water, vitamins and exercise. Do you chart what you eat on fitday.com? That helps me keep on track. Once you know how many calories per day you need to be eating, then you can decide how to spend those calories.
I look at it this way...if I can only eat, say, 1500 calories a day, then I CHOOSE to eat mostly protein calories that will help me stay full longer. Remember to keep sipping fluids all day long (this helps me with hunger pangs too), and maybe you could take your little one out for short walks a couple of times each day.
You can do this! The tool works even when you're pregnant. Best of luck! We're here for you!
