Hey Sheila, Well, I won't scold you for the pizza; I did the same thing. The kids wanted pizza and I know it's bad, but we got it. Still, I didn't drink with it so that is a bonus. I am trying to watch the carbs but it is really difficult. I am glad you found a protein you like. I am getting lots of protein through my meals, but I rarely drink the shakes anymore. What brand is the caramel? I might want to give it a shot. I have tried the Lactaid milk, but I actually like the Carb Smart better. I don't dump or have any problems with regular milk though, so I have been buying that for the past year or so. Don't beat yourself up over the pizza. You'll be fine. You are allowed to be human and get back on track for your goals now. I honestly believe we can't deny our cravings completely or beat ourselves up when we do give in to the foods we know aren't the best choices. I just try to think of the value of what I am eating. I didn't really enjoy the pizza that much and then to have to write it in my journal, with the calories and carbs as the biggest numbers and hardly any protein. Gosh, just not worth it next time. However, I did have a few glasses of wine tonight. I know that also has no nutritional value, but it sure calms my nerves and helps me wind down from the day. Trying not to let that become a habit. Good luck on getting back to Curves. I was happy that I made myself workout today. Only 20 minutes, but better than nothing. I am glad you posted. Take care and best wishes. Angela

You aren't alone.... I didn't have the best week and it certainly showed on the scale, but I have decided there is no reason to cry about it this morning. I KNEW that I was making poor choices and did it anyway, so I really have no room for excuses. My best therapy right now is to be admitting it to my family of supporters(you!) and moving on to better choices. As Angela said, we cannot simply deny our cravings, but giving in to them completely isn't a good choice either, so little indulgences are okay now and then, right? My goal for this week is to simply lose three pounds. THREE POUNDS. Seems like a reasonable number, yet it scare me to death knowing how difficult it can be!! You will "see" me on this board A LOT this week!!! Big hugs to everyone! Kristi
