PROTEIN BARS

Could anyone tell me the name of a good tasting protein bar which has no/very little sugar in it? My legs are very wobbly and I cannot stand and go through all the protein bars to read the ingredients to check the sugar content in it. Thank you all very much.

The best protein bar I have found are STRIVE BARS by Biochem. They come in a variety of flavors, but my husband likes Chocolate peanut butter crunch the best. They have a crunch to them and are not soft like some of the bars. Zero sugar 20 grams of protein! If you can not find them locally, you can order them on-line. Good luck.

The best tasting protein bar I have found is at walmart called the Detour bar.. It is the peanut and caramel(I think) it is just like a candy bar; no lie....I could eat these all day long. Try it you'll love it.... Krystal

The Detour from Walmart are great but In my opinion the new One Way bars are even better. Also at Walmart!

Dorothy, I know this post is a little old, but I just came across it tonight and wanted to tell you about the protein bars that I eat. They are called Power Crunch. they are a wafer type bar and are soooo good!! 14 grams of protein and only 5 grams of sugar, 185 calories. you can buy these at the vitamin shoppe or online. they are wonderful!!

I love the South Beach protein bars. There is a chocolate peanut butter which is my favorite. The meal repalcement size is 210 calories and 20 grams of protein. I can't remember the sugar grams but I know it is under 6. There are lots of flavors, and there is a smaller snack size bar also. You can get them at Walmart.
