Who knew we had our own site here.
I am almost 2 months post op and have lost about 55 pounds started at 331 and am now about 275. Feeling great this has been such a great thing. Should be ready for the speedo by next summer...............(just Kidding !!!!!!!LOL!!!!!!!!)

Hi, Mel, just read this message, I am not sure why I tend to shy away from the message boards, I guess it is because I don't get much response from the Group Health forum on yahoo, but as long as I got you in my corner that is all I need, some one real, someone I can relate to, tu sabes? Hi Nancy!!! Welcome!! Not too much action going on here. I guess we are so few. Anyway, I check in daily to see what's going on. I am only 24 days post op and i have lost 20 lbs.

We are out here somewhere, sometimes we get a bit "perezosas" and forgeet to check in. It is a good site, when we get going on certain topics. i had my surgery on March 30, and I am down 54lbs, from 252 to 198, YIPPEE

I am having my orientation on 7-14 they should let me know my surgery date. So that I can start on my 8 week diet. Wish me luck, I will try and post afterwards I am not good at keeping in touch. Take care, now.

Hola como estas? Well i have been 3 weeks post today. Yey for me!! I honestly would encourage you to do it I am not going to lie to you it has been hard especially because food has been my way of life foreva and culturally it has been a shock for my whole family but i would do it again in a heartbeat. The changes you have to go through and ur fmaily are hard but hey whatever it takes for you to be healthy again is well worth the work. Any preguntas you may have email me and whatever info i can give you honeslty i will. You have a WLS buddy aqui en California.
