Rosa I'm glad to hear from you, I thought you had abadoned me/us....You are so active and a big supporter of this site...Glad to have you back. Congrats on all your success, you will soon be posting your picture on the "big losers (100+)". As for me I don't think that I'm losing anymore. Is it possible that I stop at 16lbs? I am completely loyal to the meal plan and I walk alot and am doing household chores....I have come to the conclusion that the procedure was not done to me....They are psychologically testing me, uhm. I don't feel anything and I haven't had any complications (thank God) thus far. Am I going insane... The other day I was really craving pizza, so I scraped the cheese of the top and ate it, No problem. I was making carne con nopales and ate about three nopales, No problem. Ate some cooked broccoli, No problem... See I don't think I had the bypass....I think they did a lobotomy Okay, enough about my psychosis... Keep up the good work and may God hold you and yours always, Warm regard carolbear

Hi Carol! It's good to be back! Please be careful of what you eat. Every surgeon is different, but I was on liquids for three days following my surgery, and then I was only allowed to eat pureed food for a month. You have to be careful even if you are able to tolerate the food because you could be stretching your pouch. I haven't had any complications either (thank God), and that worried me for a long time. Now I think I am just lucky, but I have to remind myself everyday that the surgery is just a tool, and that I have to use that tool as best as I can. It sounds like you are doing really well with your walking. That really helps. I think though that maybe you should call your surgeon and get an appointment to see him/her to talk about the slow weightloss. From what I understand, the first month or two are the ones where you are supposed to lose the most weight. Also, find out if there is a support group in your area. Here we have one that meets once a month, and it really helps me out when I have questions or concerns. Anyway, don't give up hope! All you can do is your best. I am here for you if you need me. Big Hug, Rosa
