Hey Courteney, I hope you have heard something.. I just wanted to tell you that Dr. Harris did my surgery on the 25th of June. I think Dr. Harris is a very good surgeon and you would be lucky to have him. Try to have patience as it is a process. It took between March thru the end of June for things to move along for me. Now I am losing weight everyday and looking forward to a bright future. If there is anything I can help with just let me know. Take Care! [email protected]

Courteney - Dr. Harris did my Lap RNY on 5/7/03 and I've lost 42 lbs. You have to be patient with the process. His staff is really good about submitting the papers and getting a fast turnaround. In the meantime, Dr. Harris is starting a support group next month for all pre-ops and post-ops on the 3rd Tuesday of the month at New Hanover Regional Medical Center. I don't have any more details than that but we will be receiving a letter from him with all the details and the starting date. As a pre-op, you can get all your questions answered, and us post-ops can get the support that is so vital to the success of this surgery. I hope to meet you there. You can email me personally at [email protected]. Good luck! Betsy Crittenden 237/195/130 or Healthy Lap RNY 5/7/03 Dr. James Harris Wilmington, NC

Rosa, MUCHA SUERTE, chica. You will be in my prayers, everything will be great. There will be sometimes when you ask yourself, Why?............... Allow yourself to grieve for, what will be, the old you..... If you are doing it for good reasons such as; your physical health, your mental health, and you family, then God will always be with you. Although, there will be times he is with me or the others, never think he has abandoned you. He is taking care of the rest of us and wants you to help yourself a little to. Any help or advice we ca offer you, we are here. It may take us a while to answer, but we are on your side.............. Warm regards, carolbear
