Question: I am struggling to lose the last 40-50# - I am looking for ways to boost my weight loss and maximize the few months I left on this WLS losing streak...it is looming in my head lights like a beacon...you are almost finished...you need to lose it Now...or you are done 'fer...is this true? Anyones comments will be appreciated.

I look at it as your vehicle can't run unless it has fuel. BUT if you put the wrong type of fuel in it, it doesn't run as well. Then it has to go to the doctor, and sometimes it has to have surgery to make it better. If you continue to put bad fuel it in, it will continue to not run right.

SF jello SF Cool Whip (6oz) Make jell-o according to instructions, let chill for 1/2 the time. Scrape away from bowl and mix in about 6 oz of Sugar Free Cool Whip chill for remainder of jello prep time. YUMMY jello Fluff

Well... I don't know if the challenge member is pre or post op, but I'm just about 14 weeks post op and have a very hard time trying to figure out what food is to me at all anymore. I've never really thought of food as a treat anyway, so I guess I'm blessed in that aspect, but I do see it as a punishment now. I now have to force myself to eat 5 or 6 times per day and I was a once a day eater. I swear I sit here and think the whole reason I'm not losing anymore weight is because I'm eating too doggone much. I upped my liquids, upped my protein, and still nothing. Oh my, and then having to force myself to drink these protein shakes... I would really love to get some good advice as to how to stop thinking of food as a punishment! The only thing I really think of as a treat however is my fruit. I looooove my fruit. Sweet Green seedless grapes... yummmmmmm!!!!

Well... I'm pretty bummed out tonight with this post. I'm still at 230 with a goal of 225. The way this stall has been going, I don't believe that I'm going to make goal. I have been stalled for more than a month and have only lost 5 pounds in about 6 weeks now. Fortunately, the 5 pounds was after I joined the Labor Day Mini Challenge!! Unfortunately, I don't know how I'm gonna get rid of the next 5 lbs. Oh well...

Well, I'm back from my two week vacation....didn't do too well while I was gone....let a few things sneak in that I shouldn't, but back to my routine and exercise this week so hopefully things will start moving down again. I hope I am still active on here and you got my message before I left. Well, better go...I just finished up bathing my dog and got him all nice and combed and his flea meds on....let him out back to go to the bathroom and wouldn't you know he got sprayed in the face by a skunk! YUCK! I certainly wasn't expecting that being we are in the city! I hope the smell comes out with just a bath, I know I have heard about tomato juice neutralizing the smell, but I don't have any...so shampoo will have to do for tonight. Anyways....my current weight is 227.8....so down a slight bit I think....and as usual I forget what I put my LD goal at.....i'll go hunt it down after I post this....take care! Suz
