Hi all, I am at 237 mine is coming off very slowly right now. I am not excersing like I should, I have been eatin bad foods and innapropriate amounts, and am very depressed. My hair or falling out soo bad, and life kinda sucks right now. My surgeons nurse today was not very much help, and I see my regular Dr. tomorrow, maybe he can help. Thanks for listening to me vent. I don't know how one could adjust their own thinking, but for me, the past two years have been about learning a new way of life. I read labels and plan meals; something I've never done well before. I have actually been having trouble eating enough each day to fulfill my protein requirements, so I've been having some issues with foamies. Not sure why this is suddenly a problem, but I see my surgeon next week, so we'll talk about it then. Anyway, for me, it became a way of life after following doctor's orders for so long. I see so many on the boards and even at our surgeon's support group meetings that think they know better than their doctors, and eat things they shouldn't, don't follow the eating/drinking rules, etc. It's no wonder they don't do so well! If you follow the rules rigidly for awhile, they become second nature and it's not so hard to avoid the "bad" things down the road.

Questions: 1. Have you been able to identify specific foods/drinks that will make you gain/nauseous? I know this sounds like a silly question, but it seems to be different for everyone. 2. Did you set a goal pre-WLS, and if so, what was your goal based upon? 3. Do you find yourself comparing your body to others, and do you find that you still think you look much bigger than you really are?

Would like to join the Sept 1st Challenge. My current weight is 207 goal to get to 200 lbs. Just walked for 45 minutes. Hopefully I'll see a little loss in the monring. Kathy

Current weight is 179. I gained a lb but I am pretty sure it is water weight. I have not been able to take my diuretic for like a week now. I feel like a beached whale. Maybe tomorrow.......lol Sally

I have a couple sugar free pie recipes that I take, I do a couple different sugar free jellos. There is a broccoli cassarole with eggs and cheese that is loaded with protein I have made before. I do a chicken wing dip for an appitizer too. There are so many things and so many ways to be creative. Sally
