For those folks who are one year and over do you still get that sensation of fullness you got early out? if not, when did it change? Do you have issues controlling any overeating?

I'm two years out this month, and I still get full very easily... my problem now is that I can eat nearly anything - in small quantities. If I make bad choices, I gain weight. I don't really eat a lot of anything - I get too uncomfortable.

I totally agree with Mira here. I feel full quickly but feel fine if I eat very small amounts. I actually feel the best when I don't eat but that is not good so I eat small amounts. Unfortunately, an hour later I have an urge to eat again so I gain some weight that way. Or not lose weight....same thing. I can eat junk food with no problem and that is really frustrating! I really REALLY have to watch this!!!

I'm not a year out yet. But I do feel hunger now and can feel full on less food, but not if I eat sliders-I can really pack those in!

I'll be 11 mos. out next Sunday. I still feel full, although I can eat a lot more now than I used to be able to eat in one sitting. I can avoid pretty much all temptation at home, but when at my Mom's, which is just about every weekend -- well, that's a different story. I still don't eat as much of the bad stuff as I used to eat, but she always has some tempting food, like cookies, around. Makes me fear the upcoming holidays when the temptation will be all around me.

At 16 months post op I still get that full feeling but I need to pay attentin to recognize it. I will and can overeat if I eat slow enough...I judt keep going and going.
