Daily Post--7/29/08 Tuesday
I'm old... LOL I walk five or six times a week for at least 15 minutes at a time. I try to do a "Bean workout" (www.bean.com) three or four times a week, but that goes in spurts... but I do enjoy it! I do a lot more active things now, like amusement parks and shopping. My boyfriend and I go to county fairs, museums, battleships - LOL... we walk on the beach, things like that... I used to do yoga classes once a week, but never have time any more. I find that as long as I stay active, my metabolism keeps working. It's when I sit on my butt in front of the computer too long that things slow down. Hmmmm who'da thunk it??
I'm a walker. I usually walk anywhere from an 30 minutes to an hour or more, an average of 5 days a week. (sometimes 4, sometimes 6) I am shopping for a bike too, because I'd like to get into bike riding again. My favorite form of exercise by far is swimming, but I don't have access to a big pool everyday, so I only do that when I can. I am going to have to spring for a Y membership though, I think!
