My daughter and I got annual passes to Disneyland and try to go at least twice a month. Pre-WLS, it had been years since my last amusement park visit. I also have three nephews - age 6 and 3 year-old twins. I babysit at least once or twice a week, and I'm able to swing and slide with them, run with them, and play cars with them. I love my life now!

Amusement park. I have taken my daughter to a carnival and a large amusement park in the last couple of weeks. It was great, yesterday we were at Elitches for 10 hours and had a blast!!!!!!! I wouldnt even have attempted the rides before surgery. Vivienne

My kids are all grown now, but I'm not yet a grandmother. But I can say that I've come to love clothes shopping with them. I never liked to go pre-WLS because nothing ever fit, so it was just depressing. Plus, I got tired easily. Now I'll shop all day long with them if they want.

Bike ride, go to movies, went to Noah's Ark Water Park. I just do more period. I love hanging out with my family as I am not so uptight all the time. I invite everyone to go exercise with me...but no takers on that.

I was able to have kids. Before my surgery they told me since I was 18 that I wouldn't be able to have children. And I got pregnant 8 1/2 weeks after my surgery. The baby made it here in one piece, healthy and wonderful. I have continued my weight loss journey although it is slower now that it was in the beginning. I have a beautiful baby boy and am able to roll around the floor, play with him and chase him everywhere.
