I had a couple of WOW moments last week. The best one, though, was when I met with my NUT. She told me that if I wanted to lose another 11 pounds, that would be okay, but I'm also okay right where I am, so if I don't lose anything else, I'm good. I have never been able to say that I don't have to lose weight in my life!!!!! Okay, so I have to tell you another one: That same day, I had an appointment with the exercise physiologist. He referred to my stomach as being "flat!"
Well, I don't know if this is considered a WOW moment or not, but I decided to take it as a compliment. I was grocery shopping, at the checkout, when an older gentleman ahead of me, started chatting away with me. If he had been younger, I could have sworn that he was flirting with me. I turned around and asked the older gentleman behind me if he wanted to go ahead of me, because he only had a couple of items and he said, "No thanks, I'm in no hurry and besides, I like the view from here." I told him thanks. When I told my husband about this when I got home, he said, "What have I been telling you". (He's always telling me how nice I look.)
Anyways, I thought it was pretty nice. Jules
Well, this is not a real "WOW" moment but then again....I got my haircut! I have been wearing a "BOB" which is pretty straight but since I lost so much hair last year, it was a struggle to continue styling my hair like that. But my new hair came in and WOW! Was it CURLY!!!!!!! I really struggled to straighten it each day but was not too successful. Last week, I got brave and changed my hairstyle and now I let the curls just come natural!!!!
It is totally different but so much healthier looking!
It's cute. I miss the bob cut, though. But when you are given lemons, you make lemonade.
I had to go clothes shopping today, because I was down to like 1 pair of capris that fit me, and I have gone from a size 38 bottoms (if I was lucky and they fit me) to a 26 or 28 depending on the style!!! Woohoo!! I know a lot of you started out at the size I am now, but I haven't been in a size 26 since before I had my son, and he's 14!!!! So, WOW!! I'll take that!!
I also bought my first sexy bra in about 20 years.
