Daily Post--6/22/08
I am exercsing about 4-5 days a week. I do weights for the upper body every other day. I then do 2 sessions a day on the elliptical for 30- 45 minutes each and then do a 20 minute session on the treadmill every other day. I do this and still have no clue as to why I am gaining weight. I keep my carbs, protein and calories where I should and still no luck.
I am riding 4 to 10 miles aday on my bike. I live in the country so I can ride and feel safe. No fast cars usually until in the late eve when the kids get hold of thier mommy and daddies cars. Then u better watch out. I have also been doing a lot of yard work the weeding helps most because its up and down .
Pre-op I have to be honest NO I Did Not. If I had maybe I would never had to have WLS!
I exercise every day...sometimes twice. 3 days a week I clean 5 horse stalls and ride my horse. On day's I don't ride I walk for 20 minutes at lunch. Almost every night I do an ab workout of sit ups, leg lifts, push ups and more sit ups for about 15 minutes.
I did exercise before surgery but not as much or as vigarously.
