Daily Post--6/19/08
After the long winter, I've really come to enjoy walking. I walk to and from work when it's nice outside and try to walk to the gym a couple of times a week to do weights at lunchtime. When the weather is lousy, I guess I enjoy the upright bike at the gym the most, but when it's nice, I definitely look forward to being outside and walking. Gardening is right up there as a favorite past-time too, but I can't do it as often.
I'd rather be playing a sport for my exercise, but barring that, I'd have to say it's the treadmill/weights combo. I will usually run through the weight circuit and walk a mile or so 1 day, then the alternating days, I do an 8 mile bike ride and a 2-3 mile run.
I just keep alternating those routines right now.
