Daily Post--6/13/08

How about a TOTALLY off topic topic for the day?? LOL Friday the 13th! This is normally a lucky day for me as my birthday is on the 13th (of August) and I've never been superstitious about that Friday the 13th thing! Are you superstitious? To what length will you go to avoid doing something that goes against superstition???

I'm not superstitious about Friday the 13th, but my Dad was very much so. He would even refer to the date as Friday, the 8th plus 5th!

Hey..both my kids were born on the 13th..(September & October)..no superstiions here..I love the number and consider it LUCKY!

Nope no problem for me, as I knock on wood.

My daughter was born on January 13, at 7 lbs. 13 oz. I have considered the 13th a lucky day for the last 23 1/2 years! On the other hand, I hate it when a totally black cat crosses in front of me - I've been known to make a u-turn and drive around the block instead of crossing his path!

Not really superstitious, now. My Mom was born on a Friday the 13th so I consider them LUCKY. The only superstition I ever really followed was stepping on a crack...I didn't want to "brake my Mother's back". Can you tell I truly LOVE my Mom!!! I miss her...

I met my best friend on FRIDAY, June 13, 1980. We've been best friends ever since. I am godmother to her son, as she is to mine. So, I think Friday the 13th isn't so bad.
