Summer is here! It is hot and sweaty outside... What are you doing to exercise in this heat?

I do my exercise in the morning. Right now, I've got a bunch of Leslie Sansone DVD's. I really like them. The time goes by fast. Jules

If it gets too muggy, I'm pretty useless. But lately, the weather has been near perfect (except for a couple of too-hot days). I've been walking to and from work and also spending more time in the garden. If it gets too hot, I'll probably go to the gym where it's air-conditioned, but I hate to be inside during nice weather.

Still getting up with the chickens to bike for 30-minutes..but we have opened our pool and at night I like to do laps around the pool with my 3-year old daughter riding my back like a horse...giddy-yap, giddy-yap mommy!

I ride my horse 3 - 4 times a week and clean 4 horse stalls 2 -3 times a week. I also walk after I eat lunch 3-4 days a week; only a mile but it gets me moving. I'm so surprised ad THRILLED that the heat isn't bothering me except at night when I'm trying to sleep. DH brought up the AC for me on Sunday

I'm still walking every morning - they keep my office so cold, I can't wait to get out in the sunshine to thaw out! It hasn't been bad here in Southern California, so we try to be active in the evenings and on weekends, too. I also do "the Bean" workout most mornings in front of my DVD player.

I walk a lot. Going to the gym is really hard right now, because my gym is having climate control issues. So, I've laid off the routines I've been doing for a bit and just been walking as much as possible. When I have time, I will fit in swimming whenever I can as soon as the water around here warms up. In New England, that takes a while!

I try to walk when it is cooler. Work in the flowerbeds and do my yard work earlier in the am. Other then that I don't exercise like I should. I know I am bad. Sally

The temps are moderate year round here. I'm walking and bouncing 10-12k steps a day.
