Daily Post--6/11/08

Extremely happy with my surgery. My surgeon discussed band with me (his fav) but I was only going to do this once and I wanted the sure thing. I know I woulkd have not had as much success with a band but that's just me.

no - I really didn't research as much as most - I followed in my Mom's footsteps, and my surgeon (different from my Mom's) suggested RNY for me, too... I couldn't handle lapband - I'm weird about "foreign objects" even touching me, so I can't imagine feeling something inside of me!! When I get a new filling in a tooth, it drives me crazy for weeks, until I get used to it being there! But I'm happy with my RNY. I will NEVER allow myself to get out of control again!

No, I have no desire to even learn about what I did not have.
