I either go to the gym or walk. But now that the weather is nice (finally!!!), I'm also spending a lot of time in my garden.

GREAT TO HEAR THAT FOLKS ARE MOOOOOOVING TO LOOSE.... Like I said, I'm a gym rat as is the hubster. We are at the gym everyday doing something. Of course we mix things up and are careful to not overwork any particular muscle group two days in a row. I'm blessed to be married to the neatest guy that shares my fitness/sports background and has the training and background to go along with it! It sure comes in handy when you are setting up your fitness routine for sure! What else is everyone doing to get moving????

I am a barn Goddess ~ ride 3 days a week and clean 4 stalls on those days as well. Occasionally on other days I'll bring the 4 horses in which means 4 trips to the field and back leading them. Then I fill 8 5 gallon water buckets by carrying a pale from the spicket to the stalls ~ each stall has 2 buckets. Great exercise for my body and mind. I also do sit ups galore at night 100 or so in different fashions. Keeps my belly somewhat in shape, under all this skin anyways.

I've been mowing and working in my garden. I've not really had time for much more! With getting rows hoed in the garden, plants planted, seeds planted, and then general maintenance, that hasn't left much time at all this last few weeks. I have to cram in the mowing to keep the ticks at bay! You would be AMAZED at how sore your thighs get after 4 hours of working bent over in the garden! You use muscles for that which you use for hardly anything else in life! LOL I was sore for DAYS after! Lea

Now that the weather is nice I spend as much time as possible outside working. There is so much movement and you do not realize it then the next day you will have pain in places you forgot you used! When its raining I have been scrubbing floors and moving funiture around to get to the dust bunnys that keep getting away! I will also do so exercises with the grandkids to help keep them fit.

I go to the gym twice a week for strength training. I'm trying to get that down consistently and then will try to increase to 3 times a week. Right now I do a whole body routine, so I have to find a way to do it areas, I guess at some point. It's hard to figure this stuff out. I walk on the days I don't go to the gym.

I swept off the back deck, moved furniture to the side, put on my mp3 player and walk/run/dance in the morning. I also started using my rebounder again yesterday. I found a couple videos on youtube.com to motivate me.
