I'm a creature of habit. I have a minimum of 2 Dunkin Donuts coffees per day (this time of year, some are iced and some hot), with milk and Equal. The rest of my day is spent drinking Crystal Light. I am a complete CL addict since the surgery. It is the only way I can get my fluids in -- for some reason, just plain water upsets my stomach.
I actually drink more than I have to - my surgeon sent me to my PCP to be tested for diabetes (I am not diabetic!)
I start every day with a bottle of water with the Walmart brand orange drink mix. I usually have two cups of decaf before breakfast, then during my workday, I drink another pitcher (64 oz.) of water with Walmart drink mix (usually grape). My Slimfast counts for another 11 oz, and in the evening, I usually have at least one more bottle of water - sometimes clear, sometimes flavored. I love the Crystal Light Blueberry Iced Tea. For months, I was addicted to the Snapple Diet "Out-of-the-Blueberry", but it seems they've discontinued that flavor - guess I just saved a good $30-$40 a month on Snapple!
I've recently started craving the McDonalds SF Vanilla Iced Coffee - it's 32 oz, and I usually have four or five a week - but it's not decaf. I also love The Coffee Bean's ice-blended mocha (no sugar added and decaf). I was never such a coffee fanatic pre-op, and even until about six months ago, I could take it or leave it. Suddenly, I HAVE to have my coffee drinks!
