How many grams of protein are you eating each day? How do you get it all in and how do you keep track to make sure you get it all in?

My nut wants me to eat between 60-90 grams per day. I have no trouble getting in 90 grams per day. I start the day with an EAS protein drink mixed with a packet of CIB and 8 oz. of skim milk. That starts me out at 36 grams right off the bat. I get the rest from my food throughout the day. I eat a lot of tuna or chicken. Tuna is pretty high in protein also. I track everything I eat on www.fitday.com

I try for a hundred grams. Dont always get it, but thats my goal. I track everything in fitday too. I start the day with a Slim fast low carb shake and eat a lot of tuna and chicken as well, cant tolerate beef or pork much. BEans are good too, and I love chili! Be Blessed Betsy

I eat 12 oz of protein a day and drink a supplement that gives me another 20. I journal everything I eat to keep myself on track.

I was eating between 50-60 but my surgeon said it was too much..so I am aiming for 30-50 and keep a journal of what I eat each day. I only track calories, protein, sugars, excersize and liquids.

about 100. I always start with a shake or a bar (15-20 grams) and try to eat protein first.

I eat between 70-100 grams of protein per day, some days more and some days less. I used to track it on fitday, but now after almost 11 months out, I can get it pretty close to right by eyeing it! I just met with my nut today, and she said that I am doing well, so not to change anything. Gayle.

Shame shame shame on me!!!! I really don't keep track. Another reason why my last 16 pounds aren't coming off quickly! My doctor asked me how much I was getting in each day and I said "enough....because I always grab cheese or protein snacks when eating." But I know...I can't depend on that! I should write it down and actually see what I am eating. Again...shame shame shame on me! Jolene

I'm supposed to get 80 - 100 grams a day with a protein shot on days I ride for an extra 25-42 depending on the shot. I use thedailyplate.com to keep track of protein and calories. I don't always make the 80 but I've gotten better by going back to eating just proteins at meal times and adding bars/shakes for snacks. Also adding protein powder to anything and everything I can just like early on.
