Daily Post--4/21/08

Married 5 years and my husband has been supportive all the way. I don't let him see me naked but he's aware of all the extra skin.

I told my current boyfriend on our first date about my WLS.....I was about 9 months post op and still losing so I figured I would tell him so he would not be wondering about the quick loss.

I have no idea...no one to tell right now. I guess, I'll worry about that when the time comes...

Well, at this point and time, this doesnt apply to me. I guess it would depend on where I am in my weight loss, but I def would tell because I would hate to find out that he is mean about it after investing a lot of time. Vivienne

I am still waiting to find out when the right time is. Need to find a b/f first.......lol. I know it sure won't be on a first date. I am not so concerned with coming clean about the whole WLS thing, but how do you prepare someone for the sagging skin issue. Even I can't stand to look at it. Used to look in the mirror and see all this fat and think how horrible I look. Now I see all this sagging skin and am not sure I look any better and wonder how anyone could ever find this attractive. My boyfriend knew about surgery from the start, so I didn't have to explain anything I love him

My husbnad has known all along about the skin. If it gets too bad I will do the plastics. Otherwise we just kind of joke about my saggy boobs and where did my ass go! HEHEHEHEHE

I've been married for 8 years now so that question doesn't apply to me, but my husband knew before I had the surgery that I was going to have excess skin and probably need some sort of plastic surgery in the future....tummy tuck and new boobs!!
