Yes. I do it all the time. I go straight for the plus section. I am size 14, but shirts seem to fit smaller than pants so sometimes I have to revert to the plus section for shirts. I think that might be part of the reason. I just can't seem to get any smaller!

From time to time I do find myself in the area where my old sizes are and I realize i am in the wrong spot..its a habit I guess..my mind is still adjusting to the wls.

Not intentionally but I shop a lot at Good Will & Salvation Army so I tend to pick out sizes that are way too big.

I can't quite believe I am the size I am...a 10!!!! I will walk to the women's section because that is where I shopped for almost 20 years, then realize I no longer can wear them. It's so bizarre.

Yes!!! Oh it drives me nuts too. I just can't get it in to my head that I'm no longer THAT size!

I'm just now out of the plus sizes. I went shopping on Saturday because I did not have any summer clothes at all. I had a gift card for Kohl's and I went.......I was overwhelmed. When you shop plus sizes in a store like Kohl's you have a very small section to look through, but you get in the regular sizes and 1/2 the store is your playground. I didn't know where to start. I walked myself to death from section to section......IT WAS GREAT!!!!!

All the time. Even when I make a point to look at the clothes and pick smaller sizes it always ends up that I pick up sizes that are still too big.

Shopping for clothes is really tricky for me. I feel like I'm way out of my depth these days. I have trouble figuring out just what size I am...so I try on stuff from all over the store and I'm still shocked that my old size HANGS on me.

NO way!! I stay away from that side of the store. I'm too happy shopping in the smaller sections now. Michele

I still look for larger sizes cause I just feel more comfortable in them. Guess I want the baggy things so no one can see my body. But my husband tells me to try the smaller ones and at times I'm suprised what size I actually fit into.
