Do you ever find your self shopping for clothes in the sizes you USED to be??

No, I never go to the bigger sizes anymore. I was too anxious to get out of the plus sizes, and I don't ever want to look back. Also, when I go shopping, I usually bring my daughter with me. She has a good eye for fashion. That's important because I don't even know what my style is yet. I used to buy whatever fit. Now everything fits, so I need to figure out what looks best on me for style and for my age. I also try to buy everything a little snug because I know in a week, I'll be wearing it and, in two, it will start to get too big. Shopping is fun now (except that it kills the budget)!

No. I guess I'm just too happy to be out of the big size stores and departments. Carla

I still have a ways to go, so I dont shop much if at all. I work in scrubs, so that helps alot. I have gone a couple of times to try something on jsut to see what size I am, but dont usually buy anything. But I did buy 2 pairs of jeans on clearance for 3.99 each in 2 different sizes last week, so they will last me a bit. Vivienne

I don't shop those sizes but I do eyeball them in the store. I'll see a really cute shirt in the plus sizes and realize that not even the smallest size would fit me. I haven't gotten used to shopping in the misses department yet. But I'm learning quick!

I don't even know what freakin' size I am at the moment. I have very few clothes that fit and I don't plan on buying many until I get where I really want to be..so this question is not really applicable to me at the moment.

No - but occasionally I'll see something in the women's section that I would have liked back then, and wish they made it smaller...

I have been shopping online.... it's easier for me... I can't imagine going to a store and trying clothes on??!?!?! I have gone from a tight 5XL in scrubs at work to a loose XL!! 2 of my friends are also losing weight, and give me their hand me downs- I am soooooooo lucky that, they are keeping me in clothes... I haven't worn pants with buttons and zippers since the early 90's, and today my size 18 zip and button pants are hanging off of me... Life is GOOD!

No, my mind always saw me thinner than what I really was so I avoided buying bigger clothes...well, any kind of clothes. Now I shop more but I guess I have drifted away from the women's department to the Misses. But now I have to try everything on because I wear anything from a size 8 to a size 12...depending on the manufacturer When I was heavy, I felt thinner than i was but when I saw a picture of me at times, I was shocked at how awful I look. Now, 85 pounds lighter, I feel light but when i see myself in a picture, I think I still look fat! ??????? Time for me to stop looking at myself in photos. hahaha Jolene

Absolutely! I'm a big time catalog/on-line shopper and I always have to double check what sizes I enter because I am bound and determined to order a size that is way too big. In the store, I always have to redirect myself to different sizes and racks and sections. I even had to stop shopping at one of my favorites "fat" stores (Catherines) because nothing fits but I was determined to find something and would go into the dressing room with an armful of clothes (1x size) and they would all be too baggy. BUT it took several trips until I got it through my head.
