My bill has stayed the same..but the amount of food we "throw" away from left-overs and 1/2 eaten cans of stuff has gone up. So...in one way or another we throw money away.

I think it's about the same. A little less junk, less eating out, no meds. verses extra vitimins, healthier food, protein supps. Jules

I find mine has gone up.... eating the healthier things I do now definitely cost more than the high fat convenience items I used to have in my fridge before hand.... also including all of the vitamins and protein supplements I am buying now I definitely spend more food wise than I ever did before.

I hadn't even thought about it before but I did this morning after reading these posts and I have to agree....my grocery bill has gone up. Even though I eat less. But when buying protein bars and healthy food, fresh foods, and more vitamins, that will happen. Maybe it will come down a little soon, though because my DH started watching what he is eating so I can buy less for him now too. And I am seeing my doctor this month to review my medications and maybe I can go off of some of them by now. We'll see. But no matter, anyway, like others have said...it is money well spent. My health is so worth it! Jolene

Mine goes up one month and then down the next. Mostly due to when I buy meat. I tend to wait till it is on sale then buy large quantities and freeze it. I have always bought the fresh fruits and veggies, so that has not changed. I do buy better quality meats now though. Gayle

I think mine has stayed about the same. We are terrible about going out often although that will be coming to an end soon. I do waste though with leftovers and such. Lori

I think it is about the same. I am buying things that are better but they last longer, so I dont buy as much stuff. Plus, I dont eat out hardly at all so that is a big savings there. Vivienne
