Daily Post--3/31/08

I have had quite a few WOW moments but I will only name a few * Being able to fit into a booth at a restaurant * Being able to fit into a movie theatre seat * Having a REGULAR bath towel fit around me without any gaps * Being able to do more things in the bedroom with my boyfriend He is especially loving that one wink wink * Receiving compliments from many people in my life * Just being able to live my life easier without having to think about things ahead of time and what I will have to do to accommodate my size * Going to the St. Patty's Day parade with my friends and boyfriend and being able to keep up with them without feeling tired Those are the resent ones that I have experienced but Im sure there are still ones to come and I am looking forward to each and every one of them.... thank God for my WLS!

The best one just happened last weekend. I was with my brother in the hospital, and his best friend, who I see often and who put in my sprinklers did not recognize me. He thought that my brother had another sister. After I left I guess he and my brother talked about me, and my brother said you don't understand, he really had no idea who you were, and after I told him again it was you his comment was "damn she looks good and is doing a great job losing weight". that will stick with me for a long time. I think my favorite so far was Easter Sunday, when my grandmother saw me for the first time since the surgery. I'm down 47 and change, and she said "I didn't expect you to look this skinny already!" What a compliment!

Today was my biggest wow... I am a member of the 100 lb club!!! YEA!!!

I think my biggest wow moment was when I went in to see my PCP last week and he said Michele, I hope you don't mind me saying this, but you look wonderful!! Then he took me off my last medication I was taking for my high cholesterol!! For the first time in years, I am medication free!! Michele

Myfavorite WOW moment was when my nutritionist showed me my pre-op pictures at my 6-month visit and she teared up at the difference from then to now.

Buying a size 20 and being able to wear them comfortably. I started in 26/28 Vivienne

Reaching a normal BMI!! WOOHOO
