My husband will say in a joking way that I'm gonna go out and find me some tall dark handsome man with 6 pack abs. Or whenever I go out with the girls he will say things like "have fun with your boyfriend" and little things like that. I think he knows I would not leave him for anyone else, but I'm sure there's probably a small bit of it that is his own insecurity. He's put on some weight and is feeling bad about himself. I try to reassure him all the time that I love him no matter what, just as he loved me even at my highest weight ever!!

I'm not in a relationship officially, long story, but no, he is not jealous of other guys-he's secure in his self, as he should be.

My B/f was never the Jealous type but lately he is more insecure with himself so that is making our relationship rocky at best. He is starting to be paranoid when I leave the house. Last night i went to a WLS meeting , took a female friend with me who is having a hard time with her weight loss , we went to the mall after and then to have a cup of coffee and talk about all we learned. The meeting is about 1 hour from my home, well, when I got home he went nuts!!.. where was I and he knew, but he just is getting worse.. funny thing tho his 17 year old daughter who lives with us comes and goes as she pleases.. But me a 50 year old he wants me to check in.. anyways sorry about the ranting...

Nope, we're very secure about ourselves and our relationship. Jules

The answer to this is most definately yes!! I never used to get any type of attention and now everyone is always saying things about how I look not only to me but also to my husband. I see the looks he gets on his face and I know he's proud of me, but he can't stand all the attention I'm getting. Jealousy is a major issue with us right now. Michele

I'm not sure it's jealousy - more insecurity. We are rocky at best and he's not too thrilled with the fact that I'm doing things with my WLS group or coaching a guy friend from work as he approaches his date. He also makes snide remarks about what I'm doing or where I'm going. It's not healthy right now.

He was at first, but that has subsided and he is way more supportive than he was in the begining.

No, DH isn't really the jealous type. LOL The heat's on though, for he's been trying to slim down himself and now people look at my success.... and then his belly. LOL Poor DH!

My DH doesn't seem to be jealous. He's happy and thought it was great that some guy offered to buy me coffee the other morning. I thanked him but politely declined.
