Daily Post--3/27/08

I lost a day somewhere! Here I've been going all day today thinking it was 3/26! SO, here's today's daily post FINALLY!! Carrying on with yesterday's theme... If your in a relationship, do you find your mate getting jealous of the attention you get now from other people?

Well it's not like I'm going out on the town or anything, so not giving him much cause to be jealous. He's not jealous of any of my regular friends or folks at church. He's supportive. But I'm still 210 pounds...it will be interesting to keep an eye on in the coming months. Hmm...wondering now if I misunderstood the question. You mean just jealous of the attention...I've seen no sign of that.

Honestly, no. But I will say that he is more attentive to me now and easily gives praise and recognition of my progress.

Have not been in a relationship for over 16 months and had wls 10 months ago so I guess I can't answer this one. Sally

A little bit I think. He's really paranoid about me going to the gym because of the "muscular" guys lol He's silly.. I would NEVER!

No I don't find him being jealous of the attention I'm receiving now.... I do notice that he is paying more attention to me at times then he normally would and he definitely does notice the attention I'm receiving but he is secure in our relationship so he isn't jealous about it but I do think he kind of enjoys it.... like he is proud of having me on his arm.... but I always felt that way with him... he's great!

Before I lost weight I was pretty much a socialble person and now that I'm thinner, i still am and maybe even more so because I am not as self conscious. I think my hubby is bothered a little bit at times but he really knows that he is the only one for me. It's just that as I am getting smaller, he is a little less sure of himself because of being overweight himself. So sometimes he will make a comment to me about me being too friendly with other guys. Nothing has really changed yet. We'll see when I get down to a weight I've never been with him. We have a really good marriage, so I'm hopeful we can get through whatever difficulties we face with this.

I think that with my marriage, everything is the same as it's always been -- and that's a good thing!
