Daily Post--3/21/08

Part of the pre-op program required me to see the therapist twice. I don't see him anymore on a one-on-one basis, but he does lead a monthly support group that I attend.

I don't see a therapist. If I need anyone to talk to I either call my surgeon, my NUT or my PCP or I just talk to dear friends who have also had this surgery. Michele

I do not see a therapist....unless you consider OH therapy...that is enough for me. The friends I have made here....a therapist couldn't touch that!

I haven't seen one since my evaluation, but I'm early out, so no problems yet.

I just started to see a therapist. I really like her and she gives good insight. LB

Have not spoke to any since the origional pre-op phych eval. I wish there was someone to see. I have searched in our area for a therapist who deals with WLS patients and can't find anyone within a 60mile radius. I would love to see someone monthly. I believe there are many issues that got us to the point of being obese and those issues have certainly not disappeared just because they operated on my stomach. Sally
