I had lap RNY, my insurance covered this surgery and lapband. I love sweets and i would have been able to have sweet with lapband . I need to know that I would get sick if I had sugar

I chose RNY and had it done laproscopically. I knew that I would eat my way around the lap-band so I wanted to go all the way. I definitely believe it was the right choice for me. LB

I did lap RNY. When my friend and I went to the surgeon's seminar, we both wanted the band. Then we learned about both and we both decided it was in our better interest to get the RNY done. I love it. I'm only two months out, but my recovery went well and sometimes I don't even feel like I had surgery at all!
