Daily Post--3/17/08

Yum! I'd love a green beer. I'm defintely not out far enough for that though!! I'm not a lover of large gatherings of people...no matter what I weigh, people still talk about the stupidest stuff and I have no social skills...so I don't think I'm any more outgoing than I ever was.

For me holidays has always been about family and family oriented activities so weight was never an issue. Sally

Actually, since all holidays and events are all about food... and I'm so close to goal... people insist on trying to feed me... so, I avoid them more than before. I prefer not to be around food...

I think that I have more fun on holidays now because I am not so busy eating! LB

I am more outgoing. But my family pretty much eats and plays cards on holidays, so I could do that before...

Happy Patty's day to you too Yes, I feel more outgoing but its not just at holiday events its with life in general. I feel like I am much more approachable and not as socially phobic. I have even begun to act silly in my youtube videos and people tell me I have a talent. Have a great day! Kellie

Easter will be my first holiday where I'm on "normal" food, so this will be interesting. I just had my first dinner party at my home and it went very well. I'm looking forward to increasing my social activities.

My family has always centered holidays around food, so Im not sure how Im going to make it more about the holiday than the food. But we are all trying to eat better now, so who knows. Vivienne

yes I do, On the beer I don't have a clue. I don''t and havn't every drank beer. I can't take the smell! LOL

As for the green beer....who cares!! Yuck yuck yuck!!! Now, give me a white russian and we'll have to talk...LOL. I am most definately more outgoing now and enjoy holiday activities more than ever. And all the food is no longer a bother. I know what I can and can't eat and how much I can eat and I don't let the food control me!! Michele
