What "bad" foods do you have the worst time avoiding? We each have our own definition of "bad" too! What is YOUR definition of bad... For me, bad foods are foods really carb-loaded from refined/white carbs. They are bad because they simply make me want more of the same... This is why when I eat even a hamburger, I eat only one side or the other of the bun (usually the one that has the most cheese stuck to it! LOL). Lea

I haven't really had anything that I've had a hard time of avoiding on any sort of regular basis. I did have 2 bites of an extremely small piece of birthday cake last month and over the course of one week I ate 4 peanut butter patty girl scout cookies. But otherwise I've been on the straight and narrow and not eating anything that I shouldn't.

Wow. How to answer this. Bad foods are foods that could make me sick, (Like Sugar), foods that could undermine my intentions (like simple carbs), foods that have no nutritional value. I guess that's about it. I'm very careful, but I'm also only four months out, so I guess with time, maybe I will relax a little, but my aim is always to eat healthy.

Haven't had a chance, really want nachos and stuff, so I may make them without the tortilla chips! I am only 8 weeks out and not really hungry at all.

I don't struggle a lot but if I do it's all about sugar and chocolate. I love those dark chocolate m & ms. I really don't keep any carb laden chips or snack foods anywhere in the house. It makes life a lot easier because if they were ther I don't know if I could stay away. I've been known to throw away entire bags of stuff I should never have bought. Open and dump. It's a big waste of money so I try not to buy that stuff. Carla ps the good news is I am off salt. I used to be huge on salt and now I add none and really like the natural taste of veggies etc .

The refined /white sugars kill my stomach--ice cream/candy is a definite no, no. BUT, that said, sometimes I just can't say no (I know, what's wrong with me?)! It's crazy how much I value food. Christy

Last night I was at my moms for dinner...She made homemade macaroni & cheese - loaded to the gills with like 5-cheese, all hand shredded with love. I came prepared with a Salmon pouchie thingie - took one bite and my pouch hated it..I opted to have the mac & cheese..it may not have been the best choice, but I had my very small portion, my pouch loved it, I felt satisfied and that was that. Other than that...italian bread & butter is my downfall and the occasional ravioli- but I have been able to avoid it thus far since surgery. Laura
