I take what the doc told me to take and added the biotin myself, but did call and the nurse said it was ok. My vits changed some after my last labs - added Vit D and prilosec.

I'm taking the doctor recommended multi-vit, B-12, & calcium. I also need stool softners and anti-depressants. My doctor recommends these regardless of blood-work. I got the paperwork for my one year bloodwork yesterday.

I take just what they told me to take. They prescirbed a prenatal multivitamin, so I take that, and I take calcium with vit D, and B12 sublingual. I added a D last week when my blood work came back showing low levels. Doc says that's normal for winter in Central New York and once I'm in the sun for more than 15 mins a day I can stop the extra D.

I follow my doctor's advice ~ multi-vitamin w/ iron, calcium citrate w/ D, B-12 sublingual. I take vitamin C and Biotin in addition to what he recommends. I had my three month check up (last month) with my surgeon and all my blood work was fine. I just had my yearly physical with my PCP and no longer have to take high blood pressure medication --- yippee!!!!!! Jules

I take my doc's recommendation - bariatric chewables, iron, b-12. My doc also had me add potassium right after surgery. I also take C and Omega-3 (in the form of gummis--- sort of vitamins and a treat). Bloodwork is always tremendous! Karen
