Following along with the post for Friday, Saturday's post takes it just a bit further along the same topic: How closely have you followed your doctor's vitamin regimen? Do you only take what you are told? Do you take other things that you decided on your own to add? Is your list of what you take built upon only your doctor's thoughts/ideas OR is it based upon what you labs showed??

I take everything the doctor has told me to. I have asked them if there's anything else I should be taking or that I need to take but I have been told that what I am taking is fine and unless any of my future bloodwork says otherwise, there's nothing addtional I need to be taking.

I take all that my doctor has told me to, but I also added a few things, but only after talking with the doctor. I have labs that will be done in a couple of weeks, and I guess then we'll see if anything else is needed.

I'm like Patti....except I take Vit. B-12 sublingual tablet. But I do take Biotin and Omega supplements along with my multi-vitamin 2 X a day. Also, my cardiologist has me on Folic Acid. These are all my "health" pills. The rest of my meds are prescriptions for my heart, etc. Jolene

My Dr never really gave me any guidelines. I learned from experience and the knowledge of those who went before me. I do take my multis, calcium and B-12 every day. Carla

First of all I haven't had any labs yet..it is too early for that. I have added the following on my own: Biotin Stool Softeners I also opted to take Tums instead of the Viactive chews which my surgeon recommended because I got sick of the Viactives...I actually like to chew on Tums.

I TRY to follow my surgeons plan, but along the way I got sidetracked. But now I'm doing better, and I take a few extras. Cheers!
