I give credit to Dr. Jan to help kick start my weight loss and then credit to myself to continue it. Michelle

My surgeon gave me the tool and I wake up each day and decided whether or not I will use it to my advantage. Therefore I give credit to all who helped me get to this point...there were so many who helped me along the way - not just the surgeon and not just me.

Both! My doctor for doing such a good job, not only with the procedure, but making sure I had the information I needed in order to be compliant and successful. Me, for following the guidelines and rules set forth by my treatment team.

I try to give credit to us both. Without his gifted talent as a surgeon I could not have gotten to this point to loose all the weight. I know that what he did for me will only work as long as I allow it to and follow his direction. It was definitely a joint effort. Sally

This is a tough one because my first thought is the surgeon. However, he gave me a tool to use. He hasn't done all the work, I have. The has taught me how to use the tool...I've used the lessons and done the exercise. Great question, certainly made me think.

I give my dr and his staff a great deal of credit for my sucess! I also have to give myself credit for my sucess. I had to learn how to work the band im my favor to make the changes easier, since my dr hasn't went through any of this himself! I do think though if he did not listen really listen to all his patients with their ups and downs and then use that with his future patients I would not have done as well as I have. So I feel its a shared credit!!!!!

I thank God every day for this opportunity at a real life. That said, this was definitely a team effort... it never would have happened without my own hard work and that of my doctors (primary included!!).

I think my surgeon is amazing and I am very thankful I found him but I feel it is a joint effort. He provided me with the tool and it is up to me to appreciate it and to use it properly.

I give the credit it to the my surgeon , DR Wizman and myself too, I have to do work with the tool that I was given
