First Dr. Kothari and the surgical team, then the nutritionist and PA-C, then me.

First, God Second, me (I'm the one doing all the work-not eating the foods that made me fat in the first place) Third, my surgeon and nut (the doc helped me with the tool, the nut helps me focus on healthy food choices) It's a team effort and always will be.

I must echo what a couple others have already said--I will always give first credit to God for giving me this surgical way out of my former unhealthy life. I don't exactly "give credit" to my surgeon and his staff, but it goes without saying that I am immensely grateful to him for his medical calling and expertise in this field. He was placed in my life at just the time that I needed him, and he will always have a special place in my heart!! But I take most of the credit myself for my success . . . and . . . right now I am also taking "credit" for being in the slump I'm in with my re-gained weight and yo-yo-ing around in the 180's instead of where I should be (at least 20 lbs. less)!! I give 50/50 . I've done the post op work, but he did the preop and op work. Does that make sense?

I give myself credit for the weightloss, after all, Im the one eating 3 tbs per meal, but I know I am grateful everyday for the skill of my Dr. I know I couldnt do this without surgery, and he has opened the door for my success. Vivienne
