I have a similar plan to most, I saw my surgeon at 2 weeks out, 3 months out, next appointment is 6 months, then 9 and so on. At some point it will be every 6 months and then once a year. I plan on seeing my NUT once every 3 months for the time being. LB

I seen my surgeon at 2 weeks, then 1 month for first fill then I went to see him monthly from there because I went to support group meetings. My next appointment is for my 1 year. I have seen the NUT every 3 months. The exercise phyc every three months too! I will then be on to see him every year unless I need a fill! Karen

My surgeon sees you at 2 weeks, 3 months, 6 months and a year and then once a year after that. To my knowledge we do not meet with a nutritionalist again unless we want to pay for it out of our pocket. Sally

I have kept all my appointments and actually wish for more. My surgeon sees us at 2 wks, 8 wks, 6 mths & 1yr so I'm scheduled for my 1 year on March 27th which is actually 2 weeks early from my surgery date of 4/9. Then it's once a year after that.

The first 2 years, yes, I did all follow-ups. (2 wks., 6 wks., 6 mo., 1 yr.--then not til 2 yrs., then every yr. thereafter). All of those included a session w/ the nutritionist. The only one that I actually saw my surgeon was for the 2 wk. appmt.; otherwise, in addition to the nut, I saw his assistant, which was fine, as she talked to me about behavioral changes. I did not go to my 3-yr. check-up last Aug. I do, however, plan to make and keep my 4-yr. follow-up this year. I get my lab follow-ups through my pcp, who has always been very supportive of my wls (although not thoroughly "learned" about it).

I am just like Lea. and yes, i follow up with my appointments. I have the opportunity to see the nutritionist but I haven't done so. I am coming up on one year soon and will be glad when the every three month appointments are done because I don't think they are worth the money or my time. But I haven't had any problems or concerns and that is a good thing. Jolene

I am at the 6 month visits. When I hit my 2 year anniversary it goes to one year. I have not followed up with the Nut. I think I need to.

I do follow up with the surgeon and nut. I just had my 3 month a few weeks ago. I also am in close contact with my pcp, he's been a huge help for me. And I have a therapist too.
