Truth be told.. I eat it but only in a very small amount..
Before I had this lapband put in I never really craved sweet stuff. I was a salty crunchy food eater. I now crave chocolate. I have been buying the south beach diet protein bars. So I then get protein and chocolate together. I really wanted a bag of chocolate minitures the other day, so I dumped them out in the garbage!! Then took the trash out....I was afraid I would eat the whole bag.
When I crave something, I'm like a volcano. The longer I ignore the crave, the more I'll eat of it when I finally explode! Now since the surgery, I'm aware that I cannot be like that anymore. Certain things I don't crave anymore, but I've always had a sweet tooth. So, every now and then I'll allow myself a snack. The other day I had a small peanut butter egg (Reeses, I know, they're good (and bad)), but I stopped at one and it satisfied my craving. And it wasn't the big one either. I found out that I can't eat a big one anymore. Yay!
For Easter, if I make goal, I will buy myself a cadbury egg. OMG I love those. Atleast I used to. Maybe I won't anymore!

When I crave something sweet I go for a sugar free chocolate fudge pudding and I also like the sugar free cheesecake pudding.... I always enjoyed pudding and I find I enjoy it even more now since surgery.... sometimes I do let myself indulge in some regular sweets but its never a whole serving anymore and I limit the amount of times I do that.
