Hello Lea and everyone
Lea .....I can't eat the sugar free pudding at the stores.
there is something in it that gets me sick.....
but i do eat the protein pudding at vitamin shoppe
and also eat InStone protein pudding
Lea , your protein pudding sounds so good.
too bad i can't eat that. I know i will get sick from it.
if I am craving something sweet , i have a Wasa bread with sugar free jelly on it
i also have the protein pudding and dip my vegies in it....
my family thinks i am crazy for doing that.... but oh well...lol
i really enjoy eating this way
plus it keeps me out of trouble and ON TRACK with my dieting.
I also make a protein drink vanilla flavor and put tons of ice cubes in it
then crush the ice until it is THICK and creamy.
then i put sugar free syrup or surgar free/calorie free ..chocolate on top of it
and eat it like a ice cream
let me tell you ....THIS IS TO DIE FOR!
i eat this at least twice a day.... and it is so satisfying to me
i absolutely love this sweet snack a lot....
i also dip my vegies into sugar free honey BBQ sauce
(i use one tablespoon) and have this for a snack
hey i am getting in my vegies, ya know ... thats all it matters to me.
have a great day everyone.
hugss

Lea, I really LOVE the cheesecake flavored sf pudding also!! I often just shake some of it (dry) into my lo-fat cottage cheese, maybe add a little splenda OR ff cool whip to make it even sweeter (I'm one of those that can't EVER get too much "sweet"!). This conglomeration tastes so rich and is high-protein!
I love the South Beach protein bars and always have them on hand, so that's often the first thing I grab for something sweet.
The sf Creamsicles are another staple in my freezer! Love em--and they are a little more of a treat than the sf Popsicles (which I also live on!).
One of my guilty pleasures is to sit w/ a SMALL handful of semi-sweet choc chips and suck them one at a time--it's not TOO bad of a splurge. (I did NOT do this until I was at least 18 mo. post-op!)
(And . . . at 3 1/2 yrs. post-op . . . sometimes--too often--I'm just BAD AWFUL SINFUL WICKED and eat some totally crappy candy, cookies, whatever.)
I don't really have any sweet tooth cravings (at least not yet) HOWEVER we did buy some girl scout cookies and in the past I would buy boxes and hide them in my dresser and eat them, sometimes a whole box in a day! However since we've had them now for the last 2 weeks I have had a TOTAL of 3 cookies and it's never been more than 1 in a day! That is a HUGE change for me!! It was kinda my first real WOW moment (at least when it comes to food) I'll have to try the sugar free puddings and see how those work for me!
