Okay, continuing our theme from yesterday, when you want something SWEET, what do you go for to keep from trashing your daily calorie/carb budget but still soothe your sweet tooth? For me, it is often protein pudding. I mix 2 cups of milk, a box of SF pudding mix and 2 or 3 scoops of Unjury unflavored protein powder. I do the cheesecake flavor a lot and sometimes add a few fresh or frozen/thawed strawberries on top. I've also done vanilla pudding with some coconut flavoring and shredded unsweetened coconut mixed in. I find that I don't care much for the butterscotch or chocolate puddings anymore! Lea

I'm the bad seed here. I go for whatever it is I'm craving, which is usually stuff that is loaded with fat. Luckily, the more fat I eat, the faster I lose weight. Man I love my DS! lol Cheers!

I actually have not wanted any sweets since surgery. I occasionally have a hot cocoa, so maybe I just dont realize it so much Vivienne

I'm also another bad seed. I'll treat myself to a piece of chocolate or something very sweet. The main HUGE difference from the past, however, is that I don't go overboard. Take for instance right now....I was craving something sweet so I had a small piece of chocolate and my craving has been satisfied. A little makes me happy nowadays and I don't even want to come close to chancing if I could go further. Why worry about making myself possibly dump if I don't have to....lol.

My first 6 months nothing I never had the feeling and I thought WOW this is great!! until after my 6 months I started getting the feeling so I had to search for things that wouldn't hurt me or my efforts.. I grab my magic bullet & make me a Chocolate - Frappe Freeze Skinny! or Coffee - Frappe Freeze Skinny! or Mocha - Frappe Freeze Skinny! they are made with Splenda.... Low Calories, Low Sugar, Low Fat has never tasted so sweet. Just blend with skim milk and ice. Where I get my 3lb bags my kids drink them now.. http://www.everythingcoffee-tea.com/advanced_search_result.php?keywords=Frappe+freeze+skin ny&x=6&y=5

Depends on what kind of thing I'm looking for. I have a package of Murray's Sugar Free Pecan Shortbread Cookies and I'm happy with one or two of those with my tea. I also have sugar free hard candies around. But, I'm careful with how much of that I allow myself. I find that one piece after a meal makes me feel like I had dessert. Ice cream used to be a favorite food, but since I can't tolerate cold stuff anymore, it's not much of an attraction. My husband bought me a box of sugar free chocolates for Christmas and I enjoyed having one of those here and there, but if they weren't around I wouldn't miss 'em. Probably explains why I still have some left from Christmas and it's almost March!

I use sugar free jam a lot when I want something sweet. I mix it into low fat cottage cheese and add a little Splenda or I have a slice of whole wheat toast with butter and sugar free jam. When I want something sweet it's usually not chocolate.

I usually go for SF popsicles. Before this it was sf pudding, but now I crave the popsicles.
